The word “stello” comes from the latin verb stellare, which means “to adorn with stars”. I was known for drawing and doodling anywhere I could, with a repeating theme of my signature star that became a staple of mine. I would leave trails and traces of these sketches wherever I went, with friends and peers knowing exactly where I had been just by seeing these doodles scattered on various surfaces. Stars are symbolic of beauty and aesthetics, brightening atmospheres, inspiring creativity, and uniqueness, which are all things that I appreciate and strive to embrace in my design and artwork.
